1. The US southern border is in chaos and is being swarmed by tens of thousands of refugees from Haiti.
2. Both the $1T bi-partisan physical infrastructure bill and the $3.5T social infrastructure bill are tied up in a battle between radical-progressives Ds and moderate Ds. It is not clear if either will pass.
3. Afghanistan continues to be a violent hellhole. Several thousand Americans are still at risk as are millions of Afghans.
4. The US economic recovery continues to be very strong. US labor shortages are widespread. Inflation tames for at least a month but spiked in the months previous.
5. China makes incredible and dangerous economic and social changes in the name of “common prosperity,” moving it much closer to a purer socialist model and further away from capitalism. THIS WILL BE ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT EVENTS OF THE 21^st It bodes ill for China because socialism has never worked in any modern society.

3. Moderate Democrats in the House and Senate are now threatening the passage of both the Infrastructure Bill and the $3.5T reconciliation bill.
