In-Brief
- The Republicans will control the House by 7 or 9 seats. Just one seat is undecided.
- Biden “bought” the unexpected D victories with his corrupt scam and illegal promise of student loan debt relief.
- Two likely accurate polls about the R nomination conducted after the election show Trump defeating DeSantis by an average of 24 points. But it is 15 months until the first primary.
- The elections were certainly a battle between Democrats and Republicans. They are being interpreted that way. But the elections should also be interpreted as a vicious battle between radical wokeness and traditional American values, morals, mores, culture, and history. This latter battle is much more important than the partisan battle. WOKE LOST.
- It is now accurate to say that the US economy, at least for the short-run, is in “stagflation.” That is a period of high inflation and slow or no growth. It was caused by the horrible fiscal policies of the Biden administration and the flawed monetary policies of the Federal Reserve.
- Inflation now does seem to be slowing. We’ll know more after major inflation reports on 12/1 and 12/13.
- Ukraine had a major victory in Kherson province and Kherson City and the Russians a very serious defeat. The Ukrainians are now demanding a return to its 1991 borders with Russia. Political unrest, caused by Putin’s failing war in Ukraine, is growing rapidly.
- The annual UN Climate Conference, this year called COP27, failed as predicted in the Tuchfarber Report. The world’s rich nations came in with major goals. So did the world’s poor and middle-income nations. None of either’s major goals were achieved. All failed miserably. COP28 next year will also almost surely fail.
