In-Brief

• Trump indicted? How will that change American politics?
• The 2024 Presidential campaign is underway. Keep in-mind that the next President will be inaugurated or re-inaugurated just 22 months from now.
• High inflation was caused by the horrible fiscal policies of the Biden administration and the flawed monetary policies of the Federal Reserve. The FED’s mistakes caused the current banking crisis. The FED recently raised the FED funds rate by 0.25% … another mistake.
• The House Republicans are investigating the politicization and weaponization of the FBI, DOJ, CIA, and numerous other corrupt federal agencies. Expect political fireworks and numerous surprises including about what really happened on January 6, 2021.
• The summit between Putin and Xi changed little. Russia is sinking fast, and China is stagnating relative to the US and the West.
• Russia is continuing to lose Putin’s War in Ukraine and its economy is tanking. Russia’s revenue from the sale of energy has fallen by 50% year-over-year. So too have corporate profits. Ignore Russia’s claims it is winning the War and anyone who opines the War will go on for years. It will not. I expect the shooting war to end this summer.
• China continues to undermine its economic future with moronic economic policies.
• The World Athletics Council, which oversees international track and field events, ruled last week that transgender biological males cannot compete in women’s events.
• America is Winning!
